Although an artist her whole life, Gilat Ben-Dor has also earned 5 professional wine certifications, and had a career as a sommelier. "The Tasters," a lush and vivid painting depicting a stylish and mysterious couple, is an ode to her time as a certified wine sommelier and the former owner of a wine academy. Ben-Dor says, "Wine remains close to my heart, and I have taken it from palate to palette with my current wine-related paintings. The Tasters is one of my favorites, as I have had this image in my mind since my days of living in the wine world."
